Missions Trip to Puerto Rico - June 7 - 12, 2010

The Spanish Club is taking a missions and educational trip to Puerto Rico from June 7 - 12, 2010. The group will spend time serving a local orphanage, interacting with the resident children through play, telling stories, singing songs, performing skits and putting on a children's fair. The trip will be held in conjunction with Joshua Expeditions.

Not only will club members experience ministry opportunities, but they will have educational opportunities as well. The club plans to spend time in San Juan exploring the Old World Spanish settlement founded by Ponce de Leon, seeker of the fountain of youth. Spanish colonial homes and historic forts will be a part of this guided walking tour. The group will also enjoy snorkeling off the Puerto Rican beaches and kayaking at Bio Bay, a lagoon filed with billions of bioluminescent organisms.

The cost of the trip is $1495 per person. To contribute to this life-changing student trip, please contact Wanda Rowe at 425-5429 or e-mail her at rowew@trinityacademy.org. Please join in praying for the group to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the orphaned children of Puerto Rico.
