Co-curricular: Spanish Club
The Spanish Club takes students beyond the doors of Trinity Academy and into the Spanish culture. Students do not need to be enrolled in a Spanish class to join. Students need only have a desire to explore the Spanish language and culture to attend this service-oriented club.
In the summer of 2009, the Spanish Club is planning to take a missions and cultural trip to the Spanish barrios in New York City. The trip will be held in conjunction with Metro Ministries, the largest Sunday School organization in the world. Metro ministers to 20,000 kids in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Their mission is to find and rescue inner city children in urban environments often plagued by poverty, violence, and drugs.
