Admissions/Financial Aid: Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements

Admissions Checklist and Forms

Admission Requirements

Trinity considers three areas when admitting students: spiritual, academic, and behavior.

Spiritual: It is required that a student and one of the parents have made a profession of faith in Christ. The student and parents should understand and affirm agreement with the Trinity Academy Mission Statement.

Academic: The student must meet academic entrance requirements based on prior grades, standardized test scores, and admissions testing. Academic records must be sent to Trinity. Letters of reference from a current math teacher and English teacher are required.

Behavior: The student code of conduct requires discipline; respect for authority; neatness in physical appearance; courteous and appropriate speech; abstinence from tobacco, drugs, and alcohol; and engaging in leisure-time activities that are consistent with Christian character. Students who have had an out-of-school suspension or expulsion are not allowed to apply for admission to Trinity for one full year.

Admissions Checklist and Forms

The following items must be completed before a family interview is scheduled:

When these items are completed, a family interview will be scheduled. After the interview, our Admissions Committee will consider the student for enrollment. Our goal is to call you with a decision within one week of the time you have completed the above steps. If your student is accepted, a contract will be extended. Once the contract is signed and returned to Trinity with the enrollment fee, your student will be admitted. (For enrollment fees, see Tuition.)

Verse of the Week:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. ”
